Lauki moong dal dosa is gut friendly recipe, light on stomach and nutrient dense. You can relish this delicious protein rich, gluten-free and vegan recipe in the breakfast or as your mid day snack. Lauki / Bottle gourd makes this protein rich recipe, high in fiber as well. Hope you enjoy this recipe and share with your family and friends as well.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup green moong dal
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- 1/2 cup grated bottle gourd/lauki
- Green chilli, chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger, chopped
- Curry leaves, 7-8 leaves
- Asafoetida, a pinch
- Pink Salt / Rock salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil / A2 ghee
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Water, as per dosa batter consistency
Directions:
- Overnight soak moong dal, after 10-12 hours of soaking, transfer it to a blender, add ginger, curry leaves, green chilli, and 2-3 tablespoon water and blitz.
- Pour it in a bowl, add grated bottle gourd, coriander leaves, asafoetida, salt, rice flour and mix it well.
- Heat a pan, spread the batter, add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of oil/ghee around and over dosa and let it cook, till it gets crisp, approximately 8-10 minutes.
- Flip the dosa and cook it on the other side as well.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or home made chutney.
